Personal Yoga Therapy & Somatic Coaching

Aligning Self with Soul

These sessions help you get into your body and nervous system in a simple, yet profoundly life-changing way. They encourage development of both attention and intention – two of the most powerful tools you have for releasing stored stress and trauma reactions so you can more palatably connect with your Soul and start living your life in a more fulfilling way. Sequenced to provide a gradual progression, these sessions support the greatest possible growth and change based on your unique history, experience, and readiness. They support you in exploring things such as the Body-Mind- Environment-Connection to Soul, as well as helping you connect with and express things that may be hiding under the surface, like anger, grief, and other common emotions related to unresolved trauma. And that's only the tip of the iceberg in what they accomplish in terms of shifting paradigms and initiating profound life change!

HOW PERSONAL SESSIONS WORK

Your session may include:

  • Somatic awareness practices — tuning into sensation, breath, nervous system cues, and subtle body messages

  • Therapeutic movement and mindful yoga‑based practices tailored to your body’s needs

  • Reflective coaching dialogue to explore emotional patterns and support embodied insight

  • Nervous system regulation practices — so you feel steadier, calmer, and more centered

Sessions are delivered in a safe, compassionate, and non‑judgmental environment, whether in‑person or remote.

BENEFITS OF PERSONAL YOGA THERAPY & SOMATIC COACHING

By attending sessions regularly, you may notice:

  • Increased emotional resilience and self‑regulation

  • Improved clarity around life transitions and patterns

  • Greater body‑mind connection and presence

  • A sense of inner stability and confidence

  • Tools that support long‑term well‑being

Somatic work not only shifts physical tension — it helps integrate emotional intelligence with lived, whole‑body awareness. This empowers you to show up more fully in your life.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR FIRST SESSION

Your first session is an opportunity to:

  • Share what brought you to this work

  • Explore your current experience with tension, stress, or disconnection

  • Try embodied practices at a pace that feels safe

  • Co‑create a plan for your ongoing sessions

There’s no pressure to “do it right.” The work is about feeling into what your body already knows and supporting that awareness with gentle guidance.

"In my private yoga therapy session with Sarah, I found her to be extremely supportive, compassionate, and she truly understood what I was saying and feeling. I became aware of some valuable information about myself that I don't think I would have discovered on my own or without her assistance. Yoga Therapy is a wonderful complement to mental health therapy. I recommend her wholeheartedly if you are seeking a better understanding of yourself that will ultimately lead to positive change."
